With the final conference held under the Patronage of HRH Princess <\/SPAN>Alia Bent Al-Hussein, the Twinning Project named \u201cCapacity building for the Ministry of Agriculture in the field of EU third country listing criteria for plants and their fresh products\u201d<\/SPAN> (JO10\/ENP-AP\/AG\/12), between the Italian Ministry of Agriculture (MiPAAF) and the Jordanian Ministry of agriculture (MOA)<\/SPAN>, with the participation <\/SPAN>of the Polish Ministry of agriculture as junior partner, <\/SPAN>has been recently concluded.
<\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>

During the 18 months of the project, the Italian-Polish consortium achieved the goals to define a Trace Back system, to improve the Phytosanitary Inspection System and to build up an effective advisory capability system.

<\/FONT><\/SPAN>Within the project a <\/SPAN>Jordan Quality System for Agricultural Products, (JQS) was established, which is also introducing the concept of good agricultural practices with low environmental impact. Therefore, a brand and a special \u201clogo\u201d for certified products were created, with the participation of Jordanian students.

<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT>The project was a good opportunity to enhance the bilateral cooperation between Italy a Jordan in a prominent sector, which presents great potentialities.
