Their vision, creativity, and energy serve as a driving force for change, transforming innovative ideas into tangible solutions for a sustainable future. Italy remains committed to fostering youth engagement through the <strong><em>Youth4Climate<\/em><\/strong> initiative, providing concrete tools to amplify their voices and support impactful projects worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Through the <strong>Call for Solutions 2025<\/strong>, launched by the <strong>Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)<\/strong>, young people across the globe once again have the opportunity to propose and implement innovative solutions to tackle climate change.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE INITIATIVE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since its inception, Youth4Climate has funded <strong>100 projects in 52 countries<\/strong>, allocating a total of <strong>$2.5 million<\/strong>, with a strong focus on <strong>inclusion<\/strong> (50% of projects led by women) and <strong>vulnerable countries<\/strong> (47% of projects implemented in Africa).<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 edition of the Call is open to people aged from <strong>18 to 29<\/strong> and to youth-led organizations, who can submit projects in the following thematic areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sustainable Energy<\/strong> \u2013 Innovation and access to clean energy;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Food and Agriculture<\/strong> \u2013 Climate-resilient agricultural practices;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Climate and Health<\/strong> \u2013 The impact of climate change on public health;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital for the Planet<\/strong> \u2013 Digital technologies for climate resilience;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Climate, Peace, and Security<\/strong> \u2013 Climate action in conflict-affected areas;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nature for Climate Action<\/strong> \u2013 Nature-based solutions for adaptation and mitigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each selected project will receive <strong>$30,000 in funding<\/strong>, with a maximum implementation period of <strong>24 months<\/strong>. A key new feature this year is the expansion of language accessibility: in addition to English, French, and Spanish, can also be submitted applications in <strong>Portuguese<\/strong>, since the next <strong>COP30 <\/strong>will take place in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> May 26, 2025 (23:59 CET)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Register<\/strong> on the Youth4Climate platform and create a profile;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Download and complete the required documents<\/strong> (Guidelines, Budget, and Workplan);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prepare a 3-minute video<\/strong> presenting your project;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit your application<\/strong> via the online platform.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Further details and the application form are available here:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/community.youth4climate.info\/dashboard\/call-solutions-2025\">Youth4Climate \u2013 Call for Solutions 2025<\/a>.
