This is to inform that several road closures will be in effect in anticipation of the Dead Sea Ultramarathon on April 26th, a challenging 100-kilometer race expected to attract a large number of local and international participants.
Roads along the event route will be closed from midnight between Thursday, April 25th, and Friday, April 26th, until 1:00 PM on Friday, April 26th. Specific closures include the road from the Rama traffic lights towards the Al Maghtas triangle and from the Al Maghtas triangle towards the hotels and tourist beach area of the Dead Sea.
Additionally, the main road leading to the Dead Sea will be completely closed from 2:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, April 26th.
Traffic disruptions and congestion are expected in the area.
Alternative routes advised by the authorities include the King Hussein Bridge, the Shuna South Road, and the road near the Kafrin Dam.
