The Italian National Day celebrations

More than 800 people joined the Italian Embassy in the celebrations of the 67 anniversary of the Republic of Italy, hosted by Ambassador Patrizio Fondi.
The high attendance of Jordanians, Italians and of the international community, as well as the warm atmosphere of the celebrations, confirmed once and again the strong relations of friendship between the two Countries.
The National day offered a wide and rich display of Italian excellencies in the field of culture, food and  industrial brands. The evening’s highlights were indeed the screening of extracts from the most popular operas by composer Giuseppe Verdi (on the occasion of the 200 anniversary of his birth), the display of Vespa and Moto Guzzi motorcycles as well as of a Lamborghini car and the tasting of Italian coffee Lavazza and ice cream Carpigiani.
